| TigerLion Arts presents Nature, the mythic telling of Emerson and Thoreau's mutual love affair with the natural world. Grounded in the story of their friendship, this virtuosic production offers a perspective on their lives that is strikingly relevant, richly complex, and yet utterly simple. Nature is performed outdoors as a "walking play." A professional ensemble of actors takes the audience on a journey through the natural environment as scenes unfold around them. Bagpipes, ancient flutes, drums and rich choral arrangements are intricately woven into the experience -- performed on the beautiful 1910 farmscape at Squash Blossom Farm, Oronoco, MN. These days it is not only the farm-hands rushing to the dinner table – our region is home to the pioneers of on-farm dining! Just a few hours driving can bring you to well over a dozen “Pizza-Farms” and other spots serving the freshest imaginable food. | Think that you missed out on getting farm fresh pizza from a local farm this summer? Think again! Pizza nights on the farm are continuing throughout the month. Grab pizza from Red Barn Farm of Northfield Wednesday night from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm, from Stoney Acres Farm 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm Friday night, and then again on Sunday night from A to Z Produce and Bakery from 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm, for the whole month of October! Don't like pizza? Reserve a spot for a fancy farm to table dinner at Campo Di Bella Winery Restaurant on October 15th, November 19th, or December 17th.
