RTC Spring Gathering & Fundraiser

Thanks for your interest in our Second Annual RTC Spring Gathering!

Screen_Shot_2020-05-12_at_11.28.57_AM.pngWe had a blast last May, connecting with friends, old and new, sharing updates on the work we've been up to, and finding inspiration in our community over breakfast at the Red Stag Restaurant in Mpls.

Although May 2020 looks a bit (or a lot!) different than we all expected, we want to continue the tradition of setting aside time for gathering together with our friends and supporters.

So join us to hear about some of our initiatives - and meet some of the folks on the ground doing this work. There will be kazoos involved and a  Jerry Lewis-style MC. And as this is a fundraiser,  we will be encouraging and accepting contributions, but in a very low-key, Minnesota way.

RSVP Below!
For those who purchased tickets prior to May 21st, you'll receive your Streamathon Kit in the mail - which comes with tasty and important supplies to help you fully participate (like Seven Sundays Muesli, Bare Honey, and a kazoo, among other things. The cost is $40. But as we want everyone interested to participate, (and know these are tough times for many), we also have a free option (please RSVP below) up until the 27th.

The idea behind the Streamathon is for you to take 15-minute "breaks" with us throughout the day. Join us for one, or for all.

Here's the schedule: (click to watch)

  • 8:15 - Pajama Breakfast - hear how artisan grains can change the agricultural landscape while providing ecosystem benefits
  • 10:15 - Plant a Little Garden - and learn about our farm to early care work in St. Paul
  • 12:15 - Kazoo-a-palooza Lunch - where we'll feature our exciting Farmland Access work and you'll meet a Farmland Navigator
  • 4:15 - Happy Hour and High Tea - where we'll talk about our work supporting local food businesses

The Streamathon will take place via Zoom - and you can check-in via social media for recordings of our mini-gatherings.

And whether you can join us for the Streamathon or not, we hope you'll consider making a donation -- it really makes a big difference to our financial sustainability and enables us to be nimble and innovative in helping to bring about change. And we would really be excited if you'd consider becoming a monthly donor - what we like to call, a Renewer!
