Farmers anticipating retirement and farmers preparing to take ownership of an existing farm should attend a Farm Business Transition Workshop at Sturgeon Lake City Hall on Nov. 8. The event will feature the nationally touring drama "Map of My Kingdom," a roundtable discussion with regional and local farmers an educators and a pulled pork meal.

Come network with farmers and professionals who can help you through the critical transition process. The event is co-sponsored by Pine County, University of Minnesota Extension, Pine County Farmers Union, Carlton County Farmers Union, North East Forage & Grassland Council, Minnesota Farm Bureau and Renewing the Countryside.
