Events + conferences are great places for public outreach + education. One example that RTC has helped develop is the Living Green Expo.

LIVING GREEN EXPO

For more than 10 years, Renewing the Countryside has been a part of the Living Green Expo, a production of the Minnesota Environmental Partnership that seeks to turn values into actions by showcasing a variety of environmental goods and services. RTC has coordinated cooking demonstrations and exhibitors, as well as serving on the Stewardship Council which coordinates and fundraises for the event. 

With hundreds of organizations, vendors, and workshops, this weekend-long event attracts thousands of attendees.

EVENTS + CONFERENCES

In 2012, RTC staffed displays + handed out materials at 9 conferences. We also organized over 10 educational + networking events and donated books, t-shirts, and staff for other events, fundraisers, and conferences. Our creative and executive director were keynote speakers, panel moderators + participants, and conference presenters for over 15 events.
