Where cuisine, culture, and conservation meet travel

Come & Get It!
Whether it is a dinner bell or the classic "chuckwagon" style triangle, people on farms across the country have heard the ringing and accompanying cry of "Come and get it!" as the clarion of a great farm-fresh meal. These days it is not only the farm-hands rushing to the dinner table - the call goes out to urban folk looking to see what all the fuss is about. If you are interested in what goes into serving vittles at the farm - you can download the new Come & Get It! guide HERE.

Calendar - Road Trip!

Roadtrip.jpg

Just because it is back to school time, you don't need to put a full stop to the travel. In fact the fall months are some of the busiest for festivals and on-farm activities. There are the tried and true corn maze and pumpkin patch outings. But now add to that a grape stomp or a tour of fiber farm and you really have fun for all. Don't hesitate too long - before you know it... you'll be picking out your Christmas tree!
